Never take DCP. It combines the worst of all worlds. Pathetic reward rate, useless benefits, spend-based lounges, terrible acceptance rates. Write to Grievance Redressal they will change the card variant for you.
That's truth alright but amplified by a factor of 10x. I am Diners holder myself and used it without any issues in at least 9 cities across India at small and big stores. It is only online (Razorpay) where I have found an acceptance issue. The reward rate, while not in the top league, is still miles better than any ICICI or SBI card I can think of and even some other HDFC and Axis cards. Spend-based lounges are absolutely fine if someone has a limited number of cards and does have the relevant spends. The BOGO on BMS is...

When I had DCP (three years ago) it's online acceptance in Kerala was not very good (60% I would say). Local supermarkets and small restaurants rarely accepted it, as did car and jewellery showrooms. Online acceptance was downright nonexistent outside the big e-commerce players. School and LIC didn't accept it. So it was practically useless for any big and regular spends. So I used it only for random once a while purchases.

The thing is that having Axis Atlas as the primary card, it makes no sense to make any spends on DCP or Regalia Gold. In fact, any other card other than M4B/DCBM/Infinia/EPM.

Hi Team, I got HDFC Dinners Club Privilage CC, I have called customer care to convert to VISA network card or issue Millenia Visa CC, bit they are denying it on call and in email not mentioning any reasons for deny.

Is this happened with someone else as well?

How do we get Millenia Visa CC , I am ok with current default limit of 2L , as DCP card is not accepted widely,

Any solutions?

Thanks

I had once converted Privilege to Regalia Gold but that was MasterCard. I asked them at the beginning but they refused. Later I spent around 2L lakhs in around 6 months and then tried again and then they relented.

The best way you can do is collect information on where it was not accepted (merchant name, POS machine company, time & date) and then write to them with the list. Use it wherever you can. The trick is that they should be convinced that you intend to spend on the card.
