How to apply for Canara Bank Rupay Select Credit Card or infact any Canara Bank Credit Card? Is Savings account necessary for applying?

I have Canara Bank Rupay Platinum card. I had applied through the branch. I had salary account there. You should approach the branch and ask them about the procedure. If account is not required, just fill the form and submit income proofs.

Saving account is mandatory in Canara Bank for credit card. Just provide latest salary slip (for salaried) / ITR (for business) alongwith adhar pan.

All cards of canara bank are life time free but there is a catch. There is minimum spending criteria per year, like 50k, 100k depending on the cc varient, otherwise fee is there.

I got the limit of 1L. For approval, it was the slowest of most. No update and took more than 1 month. I had to regularly follow them up for updates.
