Even here it does not mention wallet exclusion, yet they exclude it

Proper process (If I spent on wallet for these milestones):

- Spent required amount (which includes wallet spends)
- Wait for 60 days (usual time AU credit the reward points or provide voucher) // might also receive SMS confirmation about achievement
- If reward points or voucher not received, contact them about the delay.
- Then if received the response as 'wallet is excluded' // will send them these screenshots (even website) and/or ask them where it mentioned officially in AU Bank page.
- If proper page which T&Cs says 'wallet excluded' // will request them when it updated and/or request for the consideration.
- If any point, I didn't receive voucher and/or exclusion information URL // will open Ombudsman complaint after 30 days and fight for it.

--------------

By default, if I ask customer about anything, if its in doubt they usually deny it or ask for more time. That is customer service rule. And do not believe one agent response when its not in your favor, we have to try one more time.

I never spent on wallet because 2.3% on wallets that I use doesn't beneficial to me, so never tried. But, if you want to try.. drop another mail, and this time ask for URL where it mentioned.

Does Zenith give points for wallet load ?

So we can purchase Rs 5000 Amazon gift pay card also with 118 redemption fees right?

Yes, for the Zenith+ card, 1RP = ₹1.

Just a different perspective you might already know:
  • Zenith+: The card charges ₹5,900 and provides 5,000 reward points. This essentially means you're only paying ₹900 extra for the metal card.
  • Redeeming points: To redeem 5,000 points for an Amazon voucher, you need to spend an additional ₹118. So, in total, you've paid ₹1,018.
  • To earn the same:
To accumulate ₹1,018 with this card, you would need to spend ₹1,01,800 (1% cashback rate) or ₹20,360 if you use the BMS Buy-One-Get-One offer (equivalent to 68 tickets, assuming each ticket is worth ₹300).
Fun fact, just wanted to share - nothing too serious!

I didn't mentioned that in this post, that is another thread with different requirement.

For zenith+:

All vouchers / Other redemption options: 1 Rs.

For Others:

Vouchers: 0.20p
Other redemption options: 0.25p.

To earn 1018 we can also spend 50000 on dining food delivery or travel per year as it gives 2% cashback as per your table in OP right. This seems achieveable I guess.
Or else BMS gives maximum cashback of 500 for two tickets of 500 each ( in metros 500 is average price per ticket) so two transactions per quarter will recover the fees of 1000

Yes, but there are cards that provide 10% on dining. Or upto 25% using specific apps like EasyDiner, Dineout etc. But, anycase 50000 if used for those 2% categories.

Even better, if you spend one month 75k to achieve milestone, you can easily recover that amount. Above is just shared as a keep in mind point, nothing restrictive to change about that.

Yes, agree.

Complicated but different view on why I considered BMS as 5% rather 50%. Details

Again, its just my views and for my calculation purpose. Can alter and adjust as per your preference.
