Star Health Insurance : Premium Payment Not Working with BBPS

Star Health Insurance is yet to board on to monopolistic Govt backed BBPS and we as customers are facing issues with it. I think since last Nov 2023, Star Health isn't able to integrate policy numbers in format P/123456/01/2024/123456.

Now only option we have is to pay directly at website but they charge 0.70% (0.6%+18% GST) extra for using CC. Last year I paid via Amazon which is not an option this year.

So to all Star Policy holders, how are you managing now?

Both My HDFC Millennia CC and SBI Cashback won't help at main site. So any genius here, who has found the workaround?

Bbps is a monopoly? By that logic TechnoFino forum is a monopoly.

Looks like this is fixed. Now we have unique policy number. Amazon pay is also able to fetch the premium etc. What is the limit to pay for insurance via amazon pay in amazon website? I have 65k premium to pay?

If you pay directly then 1 Lakh is the limit. If you use GCs then using a single CC has 30K per month limit and that too don't buy in single entry buy like 8K twice, 7K twice. Bulk buying in single order should be avoided and one GC order should be under Rs.9900.

Yes. Oriental is listed at Amazon. But it is written as The Oriental so search with T letter or select from list starting from T. Once I missed the payment via Amazon as I was pressing O letter and searching O list. 🤣
