HDFC Cashback points not credited for credit card bill payment using debit card

I have been paying my credit card bills using my hdfc debit card for the past 1 year and getting 1% cashback points. But my cashback points are not being credited from june. Is anyone facing the same issue??

HDFC has added the following comment on Platinum DC Page:



"Credit Card BillPay transactions made through Debit Card will NOT earn any CashBack points with immediate effect as this is not an eligible category for the same."


Updates:
As per the members reports the working portals are SBI Unipay website, Jio Finance app, Airtel Thanks app and Canara Setu website. Please use as per your own discretion.

It's month end of the banks, these kinds of issues are normal. Try it in 1st week. It will work. I've experienced the same issue multiple times.

Same is the issue with me but. now I know why having seen this screenshot. Also, I wonder what is wrong with HDFC Bank as they upgraded my regular savings account (Standard) to PRIME and after a few days, it got downgraded to Standard again. AND few weeks ago a mail was received from HDFC notifying me an increment in Platinum Debit Card annual charges from 750/- per annum to 850/- per annum.

With millennia DC, it can even take more than 90 days. There is no fixed deadline

Wrote regarding this to hdfc, they mentioned cc payment from platinum dc does not attract 1% cashback now.

It's also mentioned in hdfc platinum dc page on hdfc. It's been updated

I've got points on 5k payment of Axis CC through SBI Unipay on 19/09. Through same route I paid 19k of HDFC CC bill on 23/09, but didn't received points till date. So not sure what's working and what's not.

I paid axis ace bill on 21st. Got the points but for transactions done on 24th for Axis select and ICICI didn't fetch points yet. will update here if I do

We are at the end of the month, and this is completely normal for HDFC. It has happened multiple times before, just wait until the first week of October, and it will be processed.

Just a qq I paid around 50k bill with DC. if 500 points credit in October does that count into October capping of 750 or September capping of 750?

September buddy, you can get 750 again in october, if your bills are of that amount.

As per the new update, I wasn't getting debit card points on paying cc bill from hdfc app/netbanking.

Got to know, they have changed the merchant code for cc bill payments through hdfc netbaking/app.

Only way now is to go through sbiunipay route, and use hdfc debit card as payment option.

I got the cashback for all my payments through unipay route.
