Only your local branch and your fate can can tell that. Kotak has not specified anything clearly. Visit your local branch or check from online application.

Yes, while onboarding via agent you get option to select between the two.

Branch cannot open this account from their end.

Give Request via Website. Respective agent of your Area will Call you and He will Open the Account. Branch Employees can not Open 811 Accounts. These are Kotak's Business Correspondents who only can Open 811 Accounts

That is the Only way.
Either Your Lead will directly go to Agent or It will show Visit Branch. You have to Contact Branch to get 811 Agent contact details and schedule a visit.
