If you want to transfer 10000 points and you have only 7000 limit left out of your 2 lakh limit in group A, what will happen?

1. will only 7000 get transferred ?
2. What to do with the remaining 3000 points ?
3. Do we need to change the group A partner to a partner from group B for transfer of the remaining points?
4. If so, would Vistara, Air France or ITC be the best option from group B?
5. or wait till 1st January for the new limit of 2 lakh points to get released?

Again the answer to ur question is it depends on ur personal needs and what do u want.

According to me. I will fully utilize 2L point A and then decide depending on my future travel plan in that yr.

Yes if u want group A partner only then wait for January else group B always itc best value

Yes.

Transfer to ITC in group B immediately or better still, wait till 1st of January

3. Do we need to change the group A partner to a partner from group B for transfer of the remaining points?
Yes, but ONLY if you cannot wait till first January.

4. If so, would Vistara, Air France or ITC be the best option from group B?
ITC, then transfer to international travel house at 5:4 ratio
(Vistara which was the best, does not exist after 13 November.)

5. or wait till 1st January for the new limit of 2 lakh points to get released.
Better to wait for 2 lac limit to get released on 1 Jan

No because before I knew the answer, I had already transferred to Air India, expecting it to be as good as Vistara after the merger
