If I do the prepayment then my limit exceeds right so I can purchase something of greater value as if I prepay some amount my limit gets added with the prepaid amount. For eg- I need to buy something of let's say 4L I will prepay 1.64L then my limit would be 4L so I can pay this way right???

What if I will pay till 2.36L and then repay the amount immediately and again do the ransaction of 2.36L...This is allowed right?

Transaction amount should be less than limit then it will be good. You can pay after every transaction and do the transaction again. To pay, you need same bank account

In HDFC they held the limit for 2 days till the first transaction was settled inspite of payment being reflected instantly. So you may have to wait for 2-3 days for second attempt.

Theoretically correct what you said
But banks will add over limit charges per day basis as per their MITC and dont waste ur money like that
Instead check with cc whether you have any pre approval on backend for an LE

As banks dont allow artificial credit increse, will prepay after 1st payment and will proceed with 2nd transaction. Just need to ask the vendor to generate 2 payment request for the payment.
