Devaluation Massive devaluation of Indusind legend and pinnacle cc lounge access.

So, someone requested me for lounge access for VTZ a while ago. I knew pinnacle has access to this airport but before confirming I happened to have logged in to dream folks website to check available lounge. And I was astonished to find that except 6 metro cities none of the airports are showing up. I thought it might be a glitch so I refreshed the page. Then went to Indusind website only to find that list of airports for lounge access has been curtailed silently without any prior information.

Earlier pinnacle had access to every single airport in India. Now Pinnacle and legend cc has access only to DEL, BOM, CCU, MAA, HYD and BLR. This is perhaps the side effect of too much easy issuance of pinnacle in recent times.

At present there is no spend requirement for free lounge access in lndusind legend card.

I got PP's each for each add on for Indulge. So same might applicable for Pinnacle too.

lt gives 02 complimentary international lounge access in each calendar quarter to any of the participating international lounges outside India.

The devaluation is only for domestic lounge access. I suppose the lounge provider maybe offering a cheaper plan to banks including only the airports of major cities.

International lounge access is via priority pass and different from domestic ones.

At present there is no spend requirement for free lounge access in lndusind legend card.

It's applicable only for domestic lounge access. (Only once per quarter).
No complimentary international lounge access available for indusind legend CC.

Imagine someone having pinnacle cc on the way to airport knowing it'll give access, but it gets devalued before he/she reaches airport. May sound funny, but sad at the same time.

Yes, that would be difficult especially for legend holders since it is approved very easily and they may not have many other CC or DC for lounge access. But . Pinnacle is difficult to get (in the ₹5000 waived with 50k spends model). So those who get Pinnacle will most probably have some other cards which will get them domestic lounge access.

Anyway happy that they have not removed the PP and complementary lounge access with pinnacle. Its the only card I have which gives PP. Thats the sole reason I obtained it

How difficult was it to get the PP (free with Pinnacle) from indusind. Read at TFC itself that sending an email is enough.I have Pinnacle, but not yet emailed them for PP

Yes just a simple email or call to phonebaking is enough.
