Upgrade to Maurya and Ashwa from idfc wealth card

I am getting notification from IDFC mobile app to get IDFC Maurya and Ashwa cards. When I click on the notification it is taking me to a page that say Upgrade to Mayura a metal credit card.is this an upgrade offer or is it a new application for Mayura card.If it is an upgrade will there be CIBIL hit.

If you hold idfc credit card,then it will show the existing shared limit and then if you proceed further,you will be redirected to pay around 7000 rupees and it would be instantly approved.
When I tried , even before paying that 7000~ I got a notification of approval message

Yes .you can check your CIBIL.if there was a CIBIL hit it will be present in enquiry section

Yes I had Classic newly approved with 1lakh limit

I won't get that card to next year
Just thought of metal card and going to upgrade from classic to wealth.So Will close Mayura card before deduction of annual fee .I got family banking because of this Mayura card

yes. i have idfc select, got mayura. CIBIL enquiry was there a month later

I got upgraded to wealth account with 100000 insurance and cancelled and bank man cried and I put 50000 insurance ,then account freezed,fought with the bank for some days and before freelook period ends,I got myself out from the insurance and got the refund and i requested for family banking he said no and lot of fight before cancelling the 50000 premium.Then my account was sitting simply .Then i got notification through all regarding Mayura upgrade .then I clicked,entered OTP ,left the page....then one boy called and asked why have you cancelled?then he said he can do all the services like credit card,loan,savings account etc...So I asked for Family banking and he sent consent instantly aftering telling the registered mobile number of family member and these two days it is showing wealth in app...For that i applied and for railway lounge ,and movie(i love movies) I go to every (good name,good poster) movies on first day of the release.So movie benefit seemed good and it is metal just to show off....I tried to Amex but could not get

Its so wrong on part of the IDFC bank to call ASHWA a metal card. It is a plastic card only & looks very ordinary/non-premium. I even escalated to their customer care & they responded stating that - Ashva card is an embedded metal card. The metal is visible only on the edge of the card and behind the central design & borders... Mayura on the other hand is a true metal card.
