Once a Cash back KING ..Is AXIS ACE dead ???? What to do with it?

Once "Axis Ace" was king of Cashback , everybody was trying hard to get it. With less approval rate it was kind of premiun.
This forum was filled with "Axis Ace" How to get? How got like subjects.
Once it was in the list of Best Credit Card.
But now there no "Namonishan" of axis Ace.

Is there any steam left with AXIS ACE CC or it is DEAD CARD now?
Anyone Using it For any Standout Feature?

I am using it for all my offline transactions. As a beginner it's useful for me, because 1. it gives 1.5% cashback, 2. comes in handy for movie discounts and other offers sometimes. It's basically a LTF because it covers the annual spends criteria.

I took Axis Bank Ace CC in March 2024, joining fee was waived off. Now, should I close it in March 2025 to avoid being charged for 2nd year fee?

Upon checking website, it doesn't mention that Rs. 2L needs to spent in previous year, so, my guess is, I can safely use it till February 2026 and get it closed in March 2026 in case I'm unable to spend Rs. 2L and get the annual fee waived off.

Can someone please help me in understanding the billing cycle and spend based annual fee waiver?
