I just went to SBI Unipay to pay my CC bill and it did not show option to pay by Any Bank Debit Card. Only SBI Card is supported.

Some users reported that Canara Setu also had same issue, but was added back later. Let’s hope it’ll be back

The real game starts now. Govt, RBI or NPCI what not is bringing new facilities like BBPS and banks are finding their own ways to block these transactions and make the lives of people difficult. Banks want to stick to old age methods, not ready to loose even a single paise from whatever possible options to make revenue from people. At the end, common people suffers.

I used to pay using Internet Banking 😛. Or NEFT.
Sorry for my tone. Recently people (specially reddit CreditCardsIndia) think DC rewards is right. And that too 1%. Hardly 2-3 banks offer that. HDFC, IDFC, RBL only AFAIR. Kotak's 5% is great, but they will exclude or end CB soon enough.

How to find the mcc code of merchants?

For DC, call bank and ask after settlement of payment. i.e. 2-3 days after doing the transaction.
