I had closed my account in 2021 by visiting the branch. Then, after seeing this post, I tried applying for it again three months ago, but at that time, it showed as an existing user, and the account could not be opened. Today, I tried again, and this time the account got opened, and I completed the video KYC. I also unticked the debit card option. Now, please tell me which debit card option I should select to get all the benefits mentioned above. Also, let me know what else needs to be done
 
I was expecting that new account will be added to same customer id and will reflect in mobile app.
But new customer Id given and mobile app showing empty.

Nothing to do, I'm in same boat. U will soon receive netbanking sms, then register at netbanking and apply emt debit card.
After receiving debit card, u can use upi.
Leave mobile app for now, after a month or so, register a complaint for removing ur no from old cif

No man, I should not go public now. If they find its their glitch, they might close account abruptly as it's new.
I will use account for 2months, then it reaches no point of return, then i raise issue on mobile app.

Anyhow I can manage without mobile app, as upi and netbanking working perfectly.
Only thing I will miss is virtual debit card.
Virtual debit card option is available in netbanking also.
Then i dont need mobile app 😉
 
What will we do with a virtual debit card? The purpose of opening the account was to get a emt physical debit card, right?
If u take rupay platinum virtual dc, u can use for bill payments (20% off) on Fridays and also some bank offers
U can keep both virtual and physical cards
 
I thought the 20% offer would also work with the EMT debit card. Thanks for clearing this doubt as well. And bro, I had one more question. When will the NetBanking details arrive on email? It's been 2 hours since the account was opened, and I haven't received them yet.
Also, can this virtual debit card be applied through NetBanking as well?

one more thing: Will both the EMT debit card and the virtual debit card work for Amazon's Friday 20% offer? Can I use both cards for this offer?

I have been trying to apply for a virtual card since yesterday, but this error keeps coming up again and again. Is there any solution for this?
