Kotak 811 Super literally advertised 5% cashback on Utility bill payment till last month and now they changed their term and condition and excluded utilities payment. Scam 2025.
Yes bro 😅 same thing they mail and sms 3 days ago , load 5k and pay utility bill 5% CB... Now they changed t and c ... Kaise kaise log hein

So if changed today, we will get this month pension if we did Transection before changed t&c 😅😅
Kotak is also like axis, if they declared new terms & condition they will not give you cashback
A friend of mine called customer care today and recorded the call. They said that if you did transaction before the T&C update, you would receive cashback for utilities.

So, this month is sorted.

Kyu us bande ki job khatre mai daal rhe ho🤣🤣🤣

Customer Care call recordings have zero value, only thing that has value is written words in the form of email from official email id.

Agreed, still something is better than nothing. Common sense says that restrictions should not apply to previous transactions. Friend got curious and asked the same question. Let's see what happens next.
Two fields in which one must never go by "common sense", Law & Finance. I agree something is better than nothing but in many people's experience, customer care will often say things not really true & for which they can't be held accountable. As for the case here, kotak 811 cb comes after weeks/month so most likely it is done via some sort of automation+manual intervention combo which means they can always manually exclude any txn they think is excluded even if it's mcc is not under the excluded category & most likely this is why they specifically mentioned "utilities payment" & not mcc of utility payments.
