Should I close my ICICI Platinum Credit Card?

Hi,

I hold ICICI Platinum Credit Card (FD based, a year old, limit ₹ 9000 only). My first ever credit card.

Should I get it closed given that I have Rubyx CC now?

Also, platinum is not that old, and won't help much in CIBIL.

I saw so many comments in YouTube that icici cc on fd is not showing in cibil even after 3 months, is it real ? Did you face any issues like these? Can we apply directly via imobile app? Please reply

Nothing like that. It properly reflects in cibil as secured credit card. But you might face issue while closing it. As even after 3 months of closing it shows as active in cibil.

They only will offer mostly coral, platinum ltf, mmt platinum, mmt signature or Manchester United card

Yes, LTF. Had asked my RM for it.

Which account variant did you had and did it required any income docs for rubyx??

Yesterday I was applying for an ICICI card and it was showing till Rubyx LTF without any account relationship. I have an Apay card only with ICICI.
Maybe It is due to my company being registered with ICICI.
I don't think it is mandatory to have a account to get Rubyx LTF.
