IndusInd Exclusive Account linking issue

Hello all,
I recently got an IndusInd Pinnacle credit card (~10 days back), and have been using it seamlessly. I had a user id associated with the credit card, let's call it ABC, and I can login to the IndusMobile app with this user ID.

Now, to avail one of the best benefits of an Indus Pinnacle card, I planned to open an IndusInd Exclusive account with 0 mab, and today I visited the nearest branch, and opened an account with initial funding of 2L. I got a Tatkal kit and to my surprise, the user ID of the savings account is different, Let's call it XYZ.

Now when I try to log in to the application, I enter my phone number and this screen comes up where it says User ID already exists, when I use my abc user id, it works and logs me in to the application and shows my credit card (not bank account).



But when I enter my bank account user ID (xyz), it shows me below screen,



Ans when I click on Change User ID / MPIN, it shows following error.


Someone, please help me with this, how do I navigate further and what needs to be done? I tried using net banking, on all available actions like, forgot user id, unlock user id or forgot password, it says "Record not found". I think I am stuck with my 2L funding in IndusInd Account.

Also, incase this issue resolves and I have my saving account working, will my account be 0 mab as the user id for bank account and cc are different.

Did you do Vkyc or face to face kyc? I am not getting option of vkyc.

Went to open exclusive account in branch today to link with pinnacle and was told that can open grande and make 0 AMB with pinnacle. They are asking for 5L deposit which can be withdrawn after couple of weeks. Anyone has experience with this? Any big benefits with Grande vs Exclusive?

I have a problem. I recently applied for pinnacle card online and at the time of applying its shows me fees of 5000/- I applied the card and it get issued and delivered. I also used the card as usual. Now after somedays when i am checking my transaction, the bank levied the fees of 15000/- plus gst. I called and emailed the bank about it. They said if you have any proof please show us or pay 15000/- what should i do? Can you please help?

While I don't recommend, ask someone here on the forum for a screenshot that they may have that states the fees as 5000

That's your best bet. Because if they don't honour you can go through channels and approach the ombudsman eventually.

But you'll need the proof or unlikely they'll revert the fees.

Did you apply on your own via online?
It seems there will be two options while applying
1) 15k fee with offering15k GVs
2) 5K fee with no GVs.

Which option did you choose? You should have taken Screenshot of this

Only 5000 fees option is there at the time of applying.

Will have taken screenshot if i know that there would be a problem in future.

Posted clarification again on the email.

Can i close the card, as i made a transaction in the card earlier and paid the same as well. Or i have to pay now 15k joining fees

Ask them if they provide 15K gv or not

Even if you close the card now, you have to pay fee.
You need to ask what will get for 15k JF?
Or is there any JF waiver offer , like spend some amount to get reversal of JF..
It all depends on your negotiation skills.
