I applied for Airtel Axis cc and i had to do physical kyc because my pan card had my childhood photo which didn't match with my face during video kyc

The kyc agent visited my house and while he was filling the form I got a message saying "We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your Credit Card application as we have received a duplicate request - Axis Bank".

I thought it might be some technical error but the kyc agent was actually applying for new application through his link.

Now my newer application( applied by agent) is also rejected because of duplicate application.

Can I complaint about this to the branch manager? or Nodal and PNO?

I have is linkedin profile and his corporate email id. I want to F*ck him up real bad for applying for new application and rejecting my provisionally approved credit card application

Almost identical happened with someone known to me 😨
Agent came, started taking biometric KYC, than while uploading ITR, he asked for some other documents.
By the time he arranged, agent started another application , he got rejection message first and new application messages next.
By the time he realised, it's not resetting application, it's a brand new application - He asked him to stop immediately new application -
What Axis people are really doing!!

Query is - in future if he wants to apply, this new pending application can create issue ?!

Technically Axis did not do anything wrong here but the greed of an agent.

Usually KYC agent are neither allowed nor authenticated for applying, as their whole purpose is to simply verify identity.

I think this agent is trying to make some money by applying itself and taking commission on the card which is not part of the contract they are hired with.

Reporting such incidents to PNO should be done so that Axis know (or maybe they already know) that the KYC agents they are hiring are harassing Axis customers for their greed.

Axis being a shitty bank might not do much, but in case a good executive is handling the case, it might open some doors for good resolution.

Apart from this, DATA LEAK or DATA sharing is a concern, plus the Rejected application, and new pending application??
What do you think/say ?

Data leak is everywhere, but still a person who is doing such a thing might not limit itself to simply commission and would definitely do more.

Thats where Axis comes into play.
If a competent executive is handling the case, it would understand that Axis's image (already tarnished) is getting bad in this scenario as customer did nothing wrong rather has been kind of gotten scammed for doing a regular thing which Axis authorised.

Technically Axis is also at wrong as the agent was representing Axis here, but for that its a long road.
