Axis Bank Credit Card Rejection - Need Advice

Axis Bank credit card is getting rejected again and again. This is the 4th time. Now I will have to wait for 6 months again. CIBIL was also good 770 and no late payment bus utilization was 29%. And when I asked the customer care about the reason they said bank's internal policy. I am self-employed. 8 lakh ITR. I went to the branch and asked they said I am self-employed that's why I am facing problems. Open the account by giving a cheque of 5 lakhs. I will give you the credit card immediately. Someone tell me what should I do now? Will I get a pre-approved offer in 3 to 6 months by opening a normal account?

I got Airtel credit card as self-employed. If you are a existing customer they won't ask for ITR/salary slip. So that u can enter some higher amount as annual income for higher limit

open a normal saving ac. keep gud balance aprx 1 lakh n use its dc. u ll get pre aproved offer in 4-6 mnth. or else if u apply most likely it will b aproved.

Try Applying co- branded credit card like flipkart, ace

5L IP and immediate CC, that's not possible. Better open 25AMB account, maintain decent amount (Around 50K). Do UPI txns, make some other bank CC payments. Later on you will get pre approved offers within 6 months. Just give a cool down period.

No, I never had an Axis Bank credit card. I only had a pay later account. I never used it. And I closed it 2 years ago.

Pata nahi. Mujhe bharosa nahi inn agents pe isiliye maine account open karne se mana kar diya. Abhi normal account hi open karunga.

Maine bhi ek Libarty account open karwaya 25k wala, and ek FD kar diya hai 15k, 3 months baad close kar dunga FD ko.

And account ko bhi downgrade karke regular 12k Wala account kar lunga.

I have 3 cards of Axis, i.e Flipkart, ACE & Airtel, I also faced the same problems on like you before but I applied it through the executive who are calling your phone to gives you several bank various cards offer. Accidentally I was saved someone one of them executive and later call them for my purpose and they applied with their referral code on the application for process. After 3 months back to back I got all of 3 cards on AXIS.

Drop email to Nodal officer if he didn't approve drop to pno if he don't approve drop mail to RBI after 30 days of their last email response mentioned that they're not telling u the exact reason behind the back to back rejection

Apply any SBI co-Branded card like BPCL or SimplyClick through Petrol pump guy & Some agents who are available at Malls or shopping centre you'll get your card immediately
Make sure to at least apply after 35 days of ur last Rejection

Unless you badly want an Axis card, I would suggest not to open savings account with them.

Firstly mail pno@axisbank.com and ask them about the main reason for rejection.
They might reply again with internal policy and all, so quote the following RBI circular mentioning that "you are violating RBI directives" and things along that line.
Finally, if they still don't reply reasonably, complain to RBI to know the actual cause.

Nahi mere pass sirf HDFC, SBI and amazon pay ICICI ye 3 bank ke cards hai. Ha woh maine bhi suna hai. Per ye koi genuine reason nahi huva na reject karne ke liye.

Unless you badly want an Axis card, I would suggest not to open savings account with them.

Abhi tak unka mail nahi aya rejection ka. Woh jab maine axis ke website pe check Kiya toh waha dikha raha tha reject ho gaya hai karke. Maine kal uske baad mail Kiya toh bole under process hai. Per jab application status check Kiya toh dikha raha hai reject ho gaya hai. Nashedi bank. Dekhate hai ab mail ane Tak wait karna padega.

I mailed them. They said the application is under process. But when I checked the application status on the website, it showed rejected. Now I don't know who is telling the truth. What should I do now? Should I wait till the mail arrives? Or should I mail them and ask the reason.
