Axis Bank Customer ID Suspended

Hello! I started facing an error while logging into Internet Banking today. It says "Login disabled since your customer ID is suspended." I contacted customer care who said there were multiple customer IDs registered under my name, which cannot be right because that savings account is the only relationship I have with Axis. They're telling me to go to the branch and get a 'cluster ID' after merging all the accounts, which is obviously an absolutely stupid thing to do when I know for a fact that none of the other accounts could possibly be mine. I've spoken to the BM, too, and he only keeps asking me if I have any loans and stuff) (which I do not) without any other resolution. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have also been logged out of the mobile app. When I try to connect to an agent on the website, I am unable to do that as well
You have any citi bank relationships sir?

Issue resolved btw. I'm back in my account. Surprisingly the BM came through and cancelled the merge request, without me having to visit the branch. Apparently, the request was placed sometime in July, which is bloody hilarious because, one, that's an insanely long time ago, and two I was outside the country when it happened, so yeah, time to get rid of this account at the earliest. Thanks y'all!
 
Lol not that much time. It took 1-2 minutes to load that customer id page for me after entering OTP.

I suggest you to use different browsers and/or device. Try from laptop or mobile chrome browser.
Already tried multiple devices and browsers. Same.

This is not hilarious but a general practice banks has to go through from year 2018 where multiple CUST IDs are being merged. Some people don't remember what relationship they had in past. So this is not per se Axis Bank's problem. I faced this in past with SBI and PNB also but both intimated me and gave choice to what Cust ID I want to keep and I just wrote on plain papers, signed it i.e self-attested and they did the job very well.
 
Axis is one stupid bank. Customer care lines never connected even after 20 mins. RMs are useless. I gave a request for RM change and nothing happened. The same RM did will when she was in Citi.
I made an email request for changing for new cc type to rupay from master. RM fwded it to service manager and refused to give service manager's contact number for follow up. Now I get a message about dispatch of a mastercard 😡

Did you ever have Citi account in the past? If yes, old Citi cust id's needs to be merged with Axis account under one Cluster Id.
 
Had tried a family members mobile...still no go. Just tried another number with no axis relation at all. Just sits there circling without getting OTP. Can you confirm this is the correct link? https://sparsh.axisbank.com/myrequests/my-form
Yes. I tried again and able to login. Though first attempt I saw technical error message near login button but tried again and got to otp page. Took less than a minute for login. Took screenshots for you. Check screenshots.

This. Duplicate Customer IDs is a big issue with banks across the board unless it's a relatively new franchise built in the last few years.

It is true that in case of multiple customer id, bank is doing this kind of activity like suspension of other cust id, nowadays multiple customer is generation is not possible but few years back it happed and bank employee also take advantage of that as they have only considered NTB(new to bank) customer into their target, hence they are generating new customer id, it is painful but it can be resolved by getting in touch with home branch

RM bashed up to day the card type cannot be changed once we choose it while applying. Is there any way I can convert it to rupay assist from contacting customer care and RM? Both these methods have proved useless. CC line doesn't connected at all, tried multiple times.
