I think mahila shakti account in rural branches are best with only 1000 rs mab. Time to go to bob branch with my mom. Can anyone tell me what is the max age limit for this account?

Actually there is one rural branch about 7 kms away from my house but a metro branch is near my home. Can I open the account in it then transfer it to the rural branch via bob world app (will the mab come from 3000 to 1000?) and can already opened account be upgraded to this variant? Thanks.
Since Bob is a PSU, I don't think that's possible. Eventually you will be asked to visit new branch to submit your KYC documents.
So you should visit the branch where you wish to open your account in order to avoid further hassle and wastage of time.What nonsense is this? For every credit card and debit card, we need to make a seperate account? The card selection option should have been given following the log in.

Yes, following the branch change, MAB will also change. What's the problem with visiting the rural branch to open an account when eventually you will be required to visit that branch for the KYC purpose?

Actually the problem is my mother has an old account in BOB which is dormant/closed. So for that we have to visit the branch to either close it or get it upgrade to required SB account. So I must visit the close branch first but If nothing works I'll ask them to fully close the account and open another in the rural branch.
Simply visit the rural branch to open a new account or go to your old branch and upgrade it by submitting re-KYC documents. Once done, you can apply for the cards through the app. After that, you can shift your account to Rural Branch for lower MAB.
So we can have 2 accounts in same bank? Because I don't think it would matter because the mobile numbers in my mother's aadhar is changed . If it doesn't matter I'll go to the rural branch
Yes, I have 3 accounts in IDFC. If they don't allow 2 single accounts, then add yourself as a secondary holder with your mother as the primary.
