Infinia HDFC Infinia Priority Pass Charged for Access in Domestic Indian Airports

There is something wrong somewhere in this situation.

2024 : Had 17 swipes (Primary+Add Ons) on Priority Pass of Infinia on domestic airport lounges, including the Arrival Lounges.
2025 : have used 5 times so far including one today.

Have never been charged.

Swipe of Infinia PP is unlimited free within/outside India, as of now.

Same here. Have swiped both the primary PP + one add-on PP many times over the past one year, both inside India, and outside of it. Have never been charged. It is very clearly advertised as complimentary, unlimited.

I had swipped 3 priority passes in chennai in November 2024. Just received the charges on my current statement, i thought infinia priority pass was free of charges on usage within india also, please confirm if anyone knows.

do you have the slips with you which they give after swiping PP ?
As, Infinia support might ask them as well.

I always verify the slips in front of them as soon as they swipe while reminding them "0 guests" again and again and take a pic of those slips as well. This way, you can be saved from this headache.

AFAIK Priority Pass is free (depending on how many visits your card allows) Internationally. International Departure Lounges in India are charged.
For Domestic travel why are people using Priority Pass when you can just use your credit card? They charge Rs.2/- so it's technically free . So unless you want to save that (or try to save that), there's no reason to not access the domestic lounges by swiping your card.

This is true for all Priority passes issued against all cards in India, including INFINIA from 7 March 2025

DCP DCB themselves are PP afaik. U can use the card number create PP account.

Wait, this amount reminds me of something.
Once at Blr airport, I was asked if I want to avail some premium lounge service through priority pass and they had told this amount will be charged for it if I avail the service. I had asked them that my PP usage is free in India and they said I will still be charged if I avail the service. I didn't opt for the service. Did they bill you for that?

No, it will be charged. be careful.
you can only use it outside India,
not even for international lounges within India

Just called again this time customer care guy told me that 3 guest charges have been added on my priority pass, but i clearly remember that no guests where added and each person did his own swipe, how to give them the proof now, don't have the slip with me now it's been 4 months, little shits have charged me 8500 for 3 guests.

mostly bcuz of the mistake by lounge staff u have been charged :/ try to explain to hdfc if they agree else last u can try rbi ombudsman but i doubt there would be any relevant proof with u at present so would be a hard to get this resolved

One doubt in PP app it doesn't show in history?? I'm not sure as I've not used it yet so just asking.
