Do you continue to get 25x rewards beyond the Magnus milestone?

So I wanted to spend a fair bit more than the 1 lakh milestone amount on Axis Magnus this month, and I was not sure if it was best to do this spend on Magnus, as my 1 lakh milestone has already been achieved.

This question is based on a lot of tweets where I see folks celebrating reaching the 1 lakh Magnus milestone as "done", and then indicate that they would be making any spends beyond this on other cards, seemingly implying that any spends beyond 1 L on the Magnus are not as beneficial as the first 1 L.

I also have an Infinia, which folk wisdom says has the best reward rates for general spends.

So, my question is, should I continue to spend on Magnus beyond 1 L, or move those spends to Infinia?

yes, move spend to infinia once 1 lakhs spend is done on magnus including any refund so 1 lakhs threshold is met

depends on what spends.. if normal spends can use infinia bur if any spend which can take benefit of 5x/10x on gyftr or grabdeals use magnus.. magnus gyftr is generally better than infinia gyftr

Base reward rate for infinia is 3.3% and base airmile reward rate of magnus is 4.8% after 1L spends.

cmg, does that mean that even beyond 1 L milestone spend, the reward rate is better for Magnus, than Infinia? Just confirming since this is contrary to the advice of the other two posters in this thread.

Just to be clear, my use-case is Amazon spend (miscellaneous categories):

1. I have already used both the 10K shopping voucher using Infinia as well as the 10K gift card using Infinia and Magnus, via respective Gyftrs, but I need to spend over and above this.
2. Post this, I think that Axis has a flat 2% CB on Amazon spends, which does not seem very attractive. I am actually tempted to use the 5% APay CB here, but that is a short-term strategy, and I want to accumulate points towards something more long-term.

So basically, this is a base reward rate shootout, and it seems that cmg is suggesting that the base rate, even beyond 1 L is better for Magnus.

Just need someone to confirm this understanding.

Actually it depends person to person. If you travel by air a lot, Magnus has no comparison. If no usage of air travel, then Infinia is great.

As long as 12RPs per 200 and airmile/hotel conversation rate of 5:4 exists, magnus has a base reward rate of 4.8% (Assuming 1airmile value as 1 rupee. Even if you consider 1 airmile value as 0.7, it will be 3.36. Slightly higher than infinia/dcb )
