Priority pass query

I have a priority pass which I received with axis atlas which has 4 international lounges available. I have never used a priority pass before. Have some questions regarding this -

1. Do I need to do something to activate the priority pass?
2. Can anyone use the priority pass or only the card holder?
3. Can I visit international lounge by using the Axis card also? Or only the priority pass is allowed?

1. No. It's already active
2. Only card holder as lounge will match name of PP with boarding pass
3. Only PP.

Note: international lounge means lounges outside India. Never use PP at lounges located at international terminals in India.

@telescope I was searching for atlas + PP posts, but can't find a single post/article about it. Everywhere it's only suggested that generate QR code in the axis app to get access to international lounge. Does the priority pass also has 4 itnl lounge access? Or will I be charged? Any clue? Even on the Axis bank's atlas page, can't find any thing about PP.

I will be going for an international trip in June with my wife and 15y old kid. I will be visiting 3 international airports (other than India of course). Although I don't think I will be able to access all 3 lounges but just asking. Are my credit card and/or priority passes enough to cover 3 international lounges for 3 persons. I have used my priority pass for my kid earlier so that should not be as issue.

I have:

1. Business Regalia#1 Priority Pass + 1 Add on (wife) - gives 6 visits per year
2. Business Regalia#2 Priority Pass + 1 Add on (wife) - gives 6 visits per year
3. Regalia Gold (wife's) Priority Pass + 1 Add on (myself) - gives 6 visits per year

Will these 3 priority passes will be enough?

Other than this I have these cards that I think offer international lounge access without any minimum spend:

1. HDFC - Neu Infinity Rupay - gives 1 visit per quarter
2. RBL Bank World Safari Credit Card - gives 2 visits per year ??? No priority pass required now??? (older priority pass has expired)

Am I sorted for this trip?

Also, lounges in other countries for domestic flights (within the same country) are considered international lounges. Right?

Any lounge outside india is called International. And they requires membership/cash to enter.

Since you already have priority pass card, you are already sorted. You can use the same card for different lounges in different airports as well.

And yes, domestic flights in that country is still international borders for you. So the airport lounges will be international.

Technically and officially its only for card holder use.

But personally, i have travelled 18 countries so far and few with my mother and wife. It all depends on how you talk with the lounge staff at the desk. Usually they let me use my other pp cards to use for my family members as well. Remember - the magic words are "kindly and thank you", with a smile.

Ask your bank, they will tell you to contact pp support, then you call pp support, the pp support will tell you to email them. Then you email pp support, they will reply by saying - since you got the pp membership as part of your credit card, we dont have your membership info. You should contact your bank. And you will pull your hairs.

Another way - remember / write down somewhere.

Indian banks purchase bulk membership from pp and df, for cheaper price. And the banks get machines and blank pvc cards for printing.

These banks provides the card to people with credit cards only and many dont even use these memberships.

These cards comes pre-activated in India. So the userdata is not added to pp server/website, unless you manually go to pp website to activate / register your pp card. In that case, the data will be sync with pp servers, whenever you swipe your pp card.

I have registered in PP website using the PP which is inactive now as because the linked CC is Closed now. But I have other PPs. I'm trying to figure out how to Remove the inactive PP from PP account and Add the active ones. Any help in this regard is much helpful.
Tried reaching PP support and was asked to contact issuing banks and banks tell to connect with PP support. A ping-pong situation it is.

If you register with a pp card which is now inactive, you cannot remove that pp card from your account.

And you cannot add new pp cards to inactive accounts.

Its best to register new at pp website using valid pp card.

You cannot typically use one pp membership for two different cc. If you have multiple cc with different pp cards benefits, you will need separate pp accounts for each card.
