I installed slice and I don't see an option for a wallet. I see an option to open a savings bank account. I do not want to open one for this.Amazon pay is very reliable. 😀 But, takes time to open Amazon app, then Amazon Pay, then to click "Scan".
Slice savings account is technically an SB account variant from North East Small Finance Bank. Lately, Slice has stopped loading money via DC for its SB account customers.
For new users, Slice can be used as UPI-wallet. Free loading limit is only 9999 via DC. Once converted to an SB account, there is no reverse gear, though.
Both wallet and SB account offer pin-less payment up to a limit configurable by us.
Slice is my go-to app for UPI and also to keep any money in SB account as Slice offers 6.25% interest on SB account balance.
