How co close NSDL jiffy savings ac now?

There is an option in App under requests. Use the same. 🙂 Also there is time limit before you can close it. Check FAQs.

OTP based account hai to it will be automatically closed after 12 months of account opening. Isn't it? Let it get dormant and it will close automatically. Charges ka mujhe pata nahi. Balance -ve par jayega even if we don't use the account (as 5.90 charges are for account maintainance, not debit card charges)? -ve balance par account close hoga? That's what we need to know right now.

I completed the full KYC on my NSDL account 4 months ago when I read that some accounts were starting to get blocked. So, in my case it won't get automatically closed.

Correct, charges are for account maintenance. Ab RBI toh yehi kehta hai ki negative balance nhi kar sakti banks, but banks kar deti hai and phir closing time par shayad bank wale bole ki clear karo dues.

Still before 18 months toh point hi nhi close karna ka, 590 le lenge woh. Clearly mentioned hai website par so RBIO won't help us in this.
