Sorry to be spoilsport!Hey Friends,
Just wanted to share that I made a 50K NPS payment today (April 5, 2025) using my HDFC Rupay UPI credit card, and there were no extra charges. Plus, I'm expecting a 1% reward!
According to the NPS site, Rupay credit cards don't have any platform or convenience fees, so I only paid 50K from my credit card and now I'm waiting for the rewards (usually around 1%).
I'm posting this to save you all the hassle of researching other cards. I looked into ICICI Amazon Pay, HDFC Infinia, Axis Rewards, HDFC UPI Rupay, SBI SimplyCLICK, HSBC Live, and Axis Select, but found this one to be the best for this payment.
Yes, that's true!Got it, thanks for clarifying @JustMak . The original intent was to get cashback, however I coudn't really find that in the cards i had(mentioned above). So saving on gateway/process charge( ~300inr) is the reward for me.
Yes, but I think still we need to invest minimum 6k in tier 1.With most of the salaried persons moving to the new regime from this year, voluntary NPS contribution only from the perspective of tax saving may not be a suitable option anymore.
