Hey all,
My dad has 55k worth of amex taj vouchers and doesnt intend on using them personally. Can I use them because they will go to waste otherwise.

I want to book a room at the taj skyline Ahmedabad. I contacted the hotel and they said I only need to present the voucher number and pin, no ID needed. Can someone help me out?

usually that works, its should be coordination between "YOU" and "Your Father" and "Hotel Staff at the billing counter".

Yes you can use your father taj voucher his presence isn’t needed.

Haven't booked for myself so i can't comment on these as far the post made by other answer could be no pls check with others for better clarity.

Vouchers are not attached to a single person and can be used by anyone. 🙂

Add the voucher to wohoo app, it will just show as a regular quiksilver voucher, you can pay using atlas also remaining amount free of Amex TnC.

The reception will only validate the pin and voucher number. They don't really have any attachment to a name or email. Anyone can use the vouchers.

Add the voucher to wohoo app, it will just show as a regular quiksilver voucher, you can pay using atlas also remaining amount free of Amex TnC.

Have you tried doing so on membership or promotional rates?
And can they be used partly, for example paying 8k bill with 10k voucher, can I use the 2k balance later?

Yes, it worked on top of epicure as well. No partial redemptions allowed. You can redeem 10k but it will be exhausted.

I have a query, I have booked next month at udaipur lake palace at members rate, I have amex taj voucher and when I asked the reservation there, they told me it won’t be accepted, any hack that can be used here? I have 2 days to cancel the booking otherwise it would be chargable

Officially, no. But I have managed to use it when I hadn't really read the tnc. They didn't really look twice.

However, as per tnc they can refuse it. So proceed with caution.
