Today I have purchased Amazon pay gift card from Amazon with Axis Ace.Then I have called Customer Care to know the MCC code,they said it's 5399.

This code is in the Hdfc swiggy inclusion list.So we should get 5% cashback for Apay Gift card.

Please confirm those who are using.

Swiggy hdfc is givign flipkart pay and Millenia is giving Flipkart Internet. Not sure why Hdfc wants to block all loopholes for swiggy hdfc

did this work for you ?

I didn't pay at last but in the OTP sms, the merchant was amazon.in i.e. the one eligible for cashback.

So, it should work.

No I think it's amazon who is controlling.

Coz I tried in 3 amazon accounts, getting "Amazon" in 2 and "amazon.in" in the 3rd.

That's not correct. It's more to do with hdfc or master card network. I tried with hsbc and AU LIT. Both gave amazon pay. But hdfc swiggy only gives amazon.

So, clearly the issue is with hdfc or master card network.

I didn't find any working way to get 5%. So, i just bought the sbi cb card for buying the vouchers.
