I think that's mainly because nobody uses this card actively. People just take it and keep it in drawer. Reward-wise it is not very attractive. Just helps to get Marriott FNA + 10 nights + silver + lounge access. Apart from that, it is useful for heavy marriott users, not so exciting for others.

I got the card in June, joining benefit of FNA and 10 nights not credited yet. Joining fees paid in August bill. Card spend points also not credited yet. Overall very slow process. Never experienced this with any other HDFC product.
