Rent isn't excluded.

Mutual funds, Insurance, Jewellery, Cash, Transfer, Govt, CC Bill pay (if someone reports it as 4900 instead of 6012, you will get rewards), Wallet, Gambling, Fuel, Charity and Alcohol are all excluded. Rent and Gift cards aren't excluded.

I do want to complain to RBIO because I still haven't received the milestone reward points for my credit card for the 2024-25 period.

I email them about it few months ago and they replied saying "We are forwarding the request to the concerned department for resolution. The note will be placed before the competent authority for approval."

But I still haven't gotten it yet. The reason I haven't complained yet is because my father is friends with the Bank Manager personally and I am worried that they will know about the complain. I do not wish to involve them in anyway.

Do you think if I complain, it will reach the BM or go straight to the CC team? I haven't complained to RBI before, so I have no idea how it goes. I don't even know if the issue is valid for a RBIO complain.

Yeah also union bank doesn't provide bank offers on e-commerce. So spending high is also concern

It's not BM level issue. BM will know and call you. But this needs to go to the RBIO.

Take it up. PLEASE take it up.

If the BM is really a friend of your father, he too will plead with you to take it up.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there any other card which gives a cash back of 30k + yearly on spends of 8-10L ? no card even gives 20k.
In terms of pure cash back / statement credit without any merchant restriction or online offline restriction no card even comes close

BTW guys, while I have lurked for a few months, I joined recently to comment on our RSDC forum as we ourselves aren't aware that most HNI Emperio (the best DC in the market) are available in our normal RSDC too. Lol. I used to have a RSDC from the time when it was launched but never renewed it. Isi group ke chalte I renewed again. Haven't used cash or DC since lockdown.

What are these tiers like buzz, reserve etc? And I see some folks have followed me but can't see who or follow them back. Is there a video that acts as a guide to this forum?

Hdfc infinia and other super premium have 3.33% and they don't give you direct cash , they'll only let you redeem those points for travel and other giftcards.
As for sbi cashback , swiggy hdfc which give 5% , it's restricted to online spends only which many don't use that much.
