Citi bank still issuing card.

Yesterday i went to ikea (navi mumbai) n i found out the IKea Family cc is being issued to customers and it was instantly generated.

But the most interesting part was that it was being issued by (Citi bank).

So ig they there still onboarding new customers.

If anyone has the same card can put some light.

no.. cannot.. citi cc transition still hasn't started.. bank account transition is underway

Yes atleast for 2024 it will citi separate and axis separate

they are still operating as different teams.. my nodal request to axis got sent to Citibank nodal team by axis cc team.. so... anything is possible.. try.. i think new cards are all axis

That is different. Citi is no longer issuing any cards. Only way to get a Citi credit card now, if you didn't have it earlier, is by going to an IKEA, and applying for it offline

Are you sure mate that every IKEA will take it offline.
I'm in Bangalore maybe I'll try it so that atleast I'll have Citi credit card with me for offers

Yeah they would. Process is same as applying in an airport or mall kiosk.

But I don't think it makes sense to get it now. Migration from Citi cards to Axis has already started. So not sure if they are even being issued now

I too got it from IKEA Mumbai oct 2023. offline process, instant approved and card generated.

Ikea citi credit card will be converted to which one in axis ? maybe neo credit card ?
