Axis card blocked - Axishit deserves all the Hate it gets

I made a payment to my card and Axis credited that amount twice (due to some technical issue, as per them) and reversed one credit entry 5-6 days later on, which resulted in my outstanding balance being more than the card limit allotted to me. I was shocked to see so much outstanding balance and talked to them over call, They explained the technical issue and I cleared all the remaining amount due immediately.

All this happened around 20 days back and this week I was on a trip to J&K and tried using my Atlas card for payments. Only the first payment of Rs 200 something went through and the rest of the payments were declined and I received an email saying the card was declined due to invalid card status for all the subsequent payments.


talked to them yesterday and as per them card is blocked card for using it more than the limit, whereas my outstanding balance is very much less than the limit allotted to me. It went above the limit only once and that too 20 days ago and due to their issue.
Now they want me to make the full payment for unblocking the card.

Saalo ko kahi aur se Open karne ka man krta hai, khoon pi liya h customers ka.

i agree with all the fellow memeber here, there is absolutely not the bank fault! plus you don't have other cc to use? as per ss just 1190.33 trnx just pay if total limit is used simple, what the fuss is all about OP?

you're kidding me right? if you pay x amount and the amount gets credited twice and you found it later and try to utilize the limit before the amount is reversed and now you're complaining and axis is fault here? Dude Just Pay your Outstanding and Move on it that Simple.

limit is 2.5 lakh and outstanding is 46k something, trxn decline kr di Rs 1190 card blocked h bol kar, jabki 2-3 din phle 200 rs ki trxn hui h.

Ye 46k outstanding last statement ka nhi h, isi month ka h jiski statement next month banegi....isko b vo keh rhe h k ki pay kar do tabhi unblock hoga

And 12-15 payment ek sath ek hi din me ki h, muje kya pta ki kon do bar settle ho rhi h kon 4 baar....jab outstanding bahut jayda dikhai diya and bank se baat ki to unhone btaya ki bank ki traf se hua galti se....

M ye thodi keh rha hu ki axis ne double amount reverse galat kiya, my issue is 20 din baad car block kyu kiya bina customer ko inform kiye .
Ab to pichle 15 dino se 2.5 lakh se jayda balance available h hi spend karne ko toh block marne ki kya jarurt h yha?

You are having card with you with available limit of more than 2 lakh out of 2.5 lakh and all but one transactions are declined by bank ?

And received a call from Axis today , after raising the issue to them on twitter,
they are saying card will be unblocked by Monday, no need to make any payment or clear dues....

I don't see the issue. You have a limit of 1 Lakh, and you have spent a net of 1.1L on it. 50k from last statement that you haven't paid, 60k now.

Jitna due the us se to kafi jayda amount hi pay kar diya tha...
I clearly mentioned in post that I cleared all the amount due immediately

I don't see the issue. You have a limit of 1 Lakh, and you have spent a net of 1.1L on it. 50k from last statement that you haven't paid, 60k now. The bank is well within their rights to decline transactions at this point. Yes, they fucked up by crediting 50k extra, but it looks like you acted with the assumption that the money was there to stay. I hate how Axis operates too but you dug this hole yourself, and now they might infact have an excuse to charge you overlimit fees on top of the inconvenience.

I think he went to j&k trip with the axis banks wrongly credited money he thought they wouldn't take back

Now, I have to make few payments for some flat booking, used all the 2.5 lakh limit again , card me available limit bhi 2.5lakh h to trxn successful ho gyi.


Ab axis ne 2-4 din baad ek 50k ki transaction reverse kar di aur card ka total outstanding 3lakh ho gya, jab ki card ki limit 2.5lakh h

Axis se baat ki, to unhone bataya ki ek 50k ki trxn extra credit ho gyi thi, vo reverse hui h.

No issue, i paid the rest amount , brought the outstanding to zero, infact pura 3 lakh hi pay kar diya , as month last me jammu jana h to card limit b chahiye thi.

All this drama happened in first week of June

20 days later on card ekdum se block ho jata h ek trxn hone k baad kyoki kabhi 20 din phle card over limit ho gya h

23 June ko Jammu station par rs 200 ki payment successful and iske baad next 2-4 din sabhi trxn decline ki bank ne

And issue is resolved now...card unblock ho jayga apne ap hi Monday tak.

Yes, going by the example, I owe 1.1 lakh and I paid it immediately (as mentioned in post also)

yes this make sense then.. we needed all the information then i understand now cause axis atlas give better reward on hotel booking and you want use this cc only. since this info was missing. it all sorted out that good to know.

Received Limit Enhancement offer yesterday from Axis, though my card is still blocked.
In fact, all 3 Axis cards are blocked.
They are saying it will take 5 more working days to resolve the issue.
