Need Help to calculate Millennia Cashback

Hi Fam,
I received my Millenia statement for August, and I'm unsure how the 5% cashback is calculated. I’ve attached a screenshot of the statement. I was expecting to receive 785 cashpoints cap, but only 552 were credited for 5 percentage. I know that the AUG month statement cashback points will be shown for JUL month


Transaction details and cashback for Jul Month till 31 JUL. I have also attached the JUL and AUG statement.

what is the expected cashback for the transactions done between Jul 1st to Jul 30th (as shown above - settled) ?

- The CashPoints will be posted on calendar month basis, the transaction settled in the system between 1st to 30/31st of the calendar month will be posted
- The transaction settled from the merchant will be eligible for Cashpoints and settlement/Posting date of the transaction will be considered for points calculation.
- Spends beyond the capping of 1,000 shall not be considered for CashPoints posting (1% max 1000 + 5% max 1000).

Rewards points are credited calendar months basis. And RP credit only after statement generation date in following month.

You must be missing something.

Yes, There is no transaction under unsettled tab.
Can I know how the cashpoint matched, Since I haven't crossed the monthly cap.

I understand, but the calculated cashpoints for Jul month I expected don’t seem to match up.

If you want exact cashback details against each transaction you need to chase the support team over multiple emails and escalate it to higher authorities if required.

Thanks for the follow up. As I attached the table From Jul 1st to Jul 31 there are 8 transaction in total and from this 7 are eligible 7txns are eligible(Amazon, flipkart, Bookmyshow) for 5%cashback. So total I am getting "15,700rs" and if I convert to cashpoints I am getting (157*5=785).

You'll get Jul 31st in Sep statement along with aug 1 to aug 30.

30th or 31st may or maynot include for immediate following month calculation. better avoid for unnecessary confusion on those days.

we never know when they include those two days settled transaction.

same applies statement based cashback or rewards (last 1 or 2 days before statement date may or maynot include).

applies all banks.

btw, still seeing 9 txns between jul 1st to jul 30th (not sure how you got 8.. screenshot showing 9)

Thanks now the points in statement is matched after excluding 31st. As you mentioned its 9 txns 🙂
