If @Abhishek012 isn't recommending enterprise dc over SPDC, then I recommend EDC over SPDC. It is way better, and no harm in getting another extra account, just a one-time activity and then forget it. 4% (if not 5%) returns directly on CC bill payments is way better than juggling around other bank cards 1%.

Use RBL Enterprise Debit card and pay only monthly 20k Credit Card bill then you still get 4% to 5% Cashback benefit.

5% cash back as vouchers on utility payments (max up to INR 1,000 per month) (MCC – 4900, 4812 & 4816)

Small spender - if your monthly Credit Card bill is 20k to 25k then use this method to earn -

Pay 1st and 2nd month 20k+20k Credit Card bill.

You will get 1000+1000 cashback voucher and Joining 8500 voucher (your Joining fee Rs7500+ GST will also recover) Cashback voucher redeem on Amazon gv, Flipkart gv, Big Basket gv, Swiggy gv etc.

From 3rd month pay every month 20k Credit Card bill and earn 1000 cashback voucher per month.

So, 1st year, 20k monthly credit card bill per month, you will earn approx 5% Cashback.

Now remember - Annual fee of INR 2,000 will be charged from 2nd year onwards.

From 2nd year, you will earn 1000*12 per month = 12,000 cashback voucher and pay only 2,000+GST annual fee.

So, From 2nd year, 20k monthly credit card bill per month, you will earn approx 4.02% Cashback after deducted 2,000+GST annual fee.
Please Note: With effect from May 01, 2024, in case of Current Account minimum monthly transaction of INR 25,000 on POS/Online payment would be required to be eligible for monthly cashback as vouchers on the above categories (Saving account holders, Monthly Cash Back as vouchers on minimum monthly transactions of INR 20,000 on POS/Online payments).

Where to Pay Credit Card Bill and earn Cashback -

Now Pay Credit Card bill through SBI Unipay website - https://customer.sbiunipay.sbi/CustomerPortal/quickPay
or Jio Finance app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.jfs.jiofinance&hl=en_IN

Both apps comes under Utility bill category.

There is 2 other apps - Airtel app and Canara Setu website for Credit Card bill payment but not tested yet using RBL Enterprise Debit card.


More Earning Trick -

There is a separate 5% cashback up to 500 in Telecom MCC - 4814.

Some Users Told Airtel App - Credit Card bill payment comes under MCC - 4814 (personally not tested).

Also "CHECKOUT FREECHARGE IN" merchant name MCC Code - 4814, Some people use this merchant name to load money on Gosats Wallet load or any other merchant, if you get "CHECKOUT FREECHARGE IN" gateway name via Freecharge gateway then you will get 5% upto Rs500 cashback per month.

Also Freecharge payment merchant name - "Accelyst solution private limited" MCC Code - 4814 (Verify once with RBL customer care)

Ongo Wallet load MCC Code - 4814 but they are now charging for wallet load and Wallet UPI still not live yet.

Few months ago i heard easemydeal app - education payment or Credit card bill payment comes under MCC Code - 4814, maybe now MCC Code is change or i dnt know.

Some people also told Phonepe payment gateway on any merchant payment also comes under MCC Code - 4814, i am not sure which merchant name.

There are many credit card to bank apps available who are using MCC Code - 4814 because we already know many banks are excluded MCC Code - 4814 for credit card spend rewards. It means many we need to find out.

Extra Earning -

There are other Cashback voucher benefit too, if you utilize this benefit then your monthly and yearly benefit will increase -

Monthly Cash Back as vouchers on minimum monthly transactions of INR 20,000 on POS/Online payments on below categories:
  • 1% cash back as vouchers on Fuel (max up to INR 1,500 per month) (petrol/diesel – MCC 5542, 5541, 5172, 5983)
  • 5% cash back as vouchers on Flight booking (max up to INR 500 per month) (travel/flight tickets MCC - 4511, 4722, 3000, 3299)
  • 5% cash back as vouchers on OTT subscription & Telecom (max up to INR 500 per month) (MCC 5968, 4899, Telecom MCC - 4814) (OTT and Telecom Cashback combined 5% upto 500 per month)
Also 2 Complementary Lounge Access per quarter at Domestic Airports (Total 8 Lounge Access per year).

0% Markup on Forex transactions/International Transactions -

Zero Mark up on international Transactions or foreign currency transactions on
Enterprise Debit Card.
Mark-up @ 3.5% plus government levies as applicable will be levied on all
international ATM cash withdrawals.

Still it's an MDC to a new user right ?
 
Received last month's rewards for EDC. However, Apay voucher not available for redemption of the same. Anyone else facing same issue?
