Canara Bank BBPS payment failed but money was deducted but no refund

Hi,
I tried making a Credit card bill payment via Canara Bank BBPS portal and the money was debited from the HDFC account but got a message from Canara Bank that the payment failed. I assumed that the money will be auto refunded. As it was not refunded even after 3-4 days, checked the portal and to my surprise it shows Payment Successful but the Credit card never received the amount. I raised a complaint with Canara Bank portal and waiting for resolution. Anyone has prior experience with such issue on Canara BBPS portal? If so please share your experience.

You may also have the option to raise your grievance to BBPS support.
 
It usually takes 7-10 days for a failed bbps transaction. Speaking only from personal experience.

I did raise complaint on Canara BBPS page, are you talking about any other platform?

Same happened to me around that time. I used hdfc esp. The amount was credited back in 3-4 days. Some transactions might take 4-6 days to settle. When it doesn't reflect in receiver account, system should automatically flag it and refund.
But 9 days is more than enough time, If it doesn't get credited by tonight, you should escalate the matter to Nodal officer

Ok thank you... It showed 3-5 working days after the complaint was raised for resolution.. It's been 3 days, so wanted to wait a couple more working days and will reach out the nodal officer... Thank you.
 
Update: received the money back in the account yesterday... Almost 25 days later... Raising complaint on Setu portal definitely didn't help.
I mailed bbps support, possibly that's the reason for refund. Gonna stay away from Canara Setu portal for lifetime.
Can you share email for BBPS complaint and escalation email.
My 30k is stuck since 8 working days.
