This month I wont use cred to fulfill this, but last month I did receive RP for using VISA on cred as well.
Received full RP, don't know the MCC though

You can most probably check the MCC by calling the customer care.

Most probably ecommerce transaction means any eligible "online" transaction falling under that offer. For a safer side, do any small purchase on amazon, and you may later return the product (if required) and take refund into apay balance.
