HDFC Global Value Program (GVP) is expired now?

I was looking for details on GVP to enroll for my upcoming international trip and found this. This is the only official place where anything about GVP was detailed as far as I know.

Infinia services rejected GVP request. There is reddit thread opened recently claiming it was discontinued on 28th December.
Man what bad timing!

Is there anything which could be tried though to activate it?

I got my GVP renewed this week on my Infinia. Saw it as a charge on my card. Looks like it is working for existing customers.

I just placed the request to enroll to the GVP. Same was accepted after sharing the terms. Was informed it will be activated in 3 business days.
