What happened bro?@BestBanker I applied for AmEx Platinum Travel CC. I have been conditionally approved with a limit of 1.2 lac with no income verification. Bet they keep asking me to upload income documents and employment verification. But I haven't. I already have a 7-month-old Flipkart Axis Bank CC and a cibil score above 775+. Please help me
Everything is normal.I applied for the Amex Platinum Charge Card today. I was conditionally approved for it after they did a Hard CIBIL check. Completed my VKYC and also uploaded all the necessary documents. However I did not receive a tentative credit limit nor any acknowledgement after the VKYC...is this usually the process followed by AMEX? And what is usually the TAT for approval for Plat?
This will be my first Amex card. I already have an Infinia from HDFC but it isn't really a good card anymore
I don't understand the Amex approval process. In late Dec 24, I applied for Plat travel card and received approval within 4 days. Now, I applied for MRCC card on 31st Jan using referral from a fellow member, I am receiving daily email that executive will contact me however no one did. Though I have contacted them twice through call and chat and everytine the executive says that vkyc is not required in my case but process will take 3-5 days (already passed) and a maximum of 21 days. I am stuck now as until the application gets approved, referral reward won't be credited to the member who referred.
What surprises me is that everyone used to say Amex has great customer service but I found it pretty average, no one has clear answers and each time you connect, the executive at the other end provides different answer than the previous executive for the same question.
That's the problem, they didn't ask anything from me. Every executive I connected with just said concerned team will connect, we have prioritised your request.That's weird, considering you're already a member, the process should have been way faster.
