That's why I keep telling people not to rush into closing their Axis Aces and Airtels. RuPay Platinum was bound to end sooner or later. The APay voucher route (via SBI Cashback CC or HDFC SmartBuy + Gyftr) is going to get rockier too. Better to have multiple weapons in your arsenal rather than relying on one Brahmastra (i.e. the ultimate weapon!

I am hopeful that this offer can be rebranded into something else. Earlier it used to be 20% off on add money to wallet (upto Rs. 100). They it became bill payment/recharge 20% off (upto Rs. 100). If the offer completely vanishes, it is one of the biggest devaluations for sure. I have 4 Rupay Platinum DCs and easily could save Rs. 4800/- per year due to this. Electricity bills, gas bills, cable recharges, mobile recharges. Pretty sure there are people who have more than 4 Rupay Platinum DCs.
