Credit score alone does not assure card approval. That way I should not get any rejection but in last 2 weeks Yes bank has rejected my Kiwi (rejected) and UniGold (on-hold) applications.

P.S. I have 34 CCs with combined CL of 1CR+, used to hold LTF Yes Bank Elite Card with 10L+ CL which was closed due to re-KYC not done.

while it's not the only factor that decides if we get the card, It certainly helps. I got Easydiner Signature without any docs and application to card delivery took only 3 days while SBI application is stuck. I applied both just a day apart.

CheQ app has a nice view for Experian score. Where can I see a similar view for CIBIL?

But in my experience, these scores don't seem to have any bearing on the credit limit assigned to a credit card.

He is worth having a look at it, but according to internal policy the application can't not be processed further. However it by no means it reflects his credit worthiness negatively. !!
