I think you can retrieve your VID again.. just do it it and check if it correct.. and make sure you enter correctly...
FIrst just loing to Myaadhar from website .. dont go directly to lock/unlock link that you provided to me..
It is working perfecly for me.. if you want me to , I will lock mt aadhar completely and unlcok it just to see i it is working fine

@SSV i'm trying to even retrieve VID via SMS but technical data error, called at 1947, and she gave me same instruction i knew.. so not sure what I'm doing wrong. so will try from guest browser and instead of copy pasting the URL would search via google.

First of all, you need to enter into myaddhar's home page.. DOnt go into any lock / unlock directly.. this is point no 1.

Try this first... and tell me if youare able to loginto it or not..

since aadhaara is locked i can't login in, and i knew it so that why I'm trying to unlock first.

That's the reason I don't prefer to lock aadhaar.

Good, when aadhar is locked, then we can't enter using aadhar number...
We have to enter via VIrtual ID only..
you either use your previously saved VID or retrieve the VID freshly.. if you can't do both of these, you are stuffed nd visit Permanent Aadhar Kendra, not local affliates.

where are you located area wise? I can search and let you know the nearest permanent aadhar Kendra.b dont go to any Banks, or local affliates.

@SSV i did try searching via web and via myaadhaar portal and there are 3-4 within 1 km. so would have try on Monday now. thank for the help.

@Sahilhenzy , there are two levels of Aadhaar lock.
1) Bio metric level
2) aadhar level.

BTW , I hate posting messages in profile posts for this exact reason ..need to split long messages into several messages

1)We should lock biometric level details to prevent frauds by using our unauthorized finger prints. For me it is always locked. we rarely need this..
2) We dont need to lock Aadhar level lock.. infact we should keep this unlocked at all times. This will fulfill all our banking needs for EKYC/ VKYC puposes.. We get OTP evertime for this authentication .. so it is reasonably secured..

@vaibhav111 the servers are down most of the times, you don't need to worry. You are trying to unlock via correct link https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/lock-unlock-aadhaar . Try in the evening around 9PM. I too was getting same error while doing Physical-KYC once, was able to unlock next day.

@vaibhav111 There is a 420 characters limit, Read my OG Post and Try using the SMS Way.

@its_karan Great info!! ... Please create a post/topic in general section with heading "unlock Aadhar with SMS" (if possible) so that everyone can get this info on 1st post instead of searching for profile posts and/or old threads.

@SSV someone i missed this message of your.. so on 7th June i went to Nearest Post Office where i paid 50 rs and updated my Mobile number and today is already 72 working days passed same issue.. i fee like i won't be able to verify of ITR if this doesn't get solved.. same error i have been receiving and 1947 is most useless service they have request and then 30 days later they close the request.
