Somewhere in the forum I remember reading that if the WM master debit card is charged, it is Rs: 200+GST (Rs: 236) per annum. As it is small amount with reference to maintaining WM status, i think it should be fine till it lasts.

For both joining fee and renewal fee, I think points are there for Emerald metal card only. As I mostly use HDFC diners black card and Sapphiro LTF, I did not feel it is worthwhile to take paid emerald card.

Yes. I am referring to Emerald PVC LTF only. Emerald Metal as LTF is difficult to get and May be very few got metal as LTF.

If credit limit on existing ICICI card is 5L, Paid Emerald PVC Card is shown as pre-approved offer with joining fee as 12K + GST and annual fees as 12K + GST.

Many got ICICI Emerald PVC card as LTF. They are not offering Emerald metal as LTF.

They consider spending criteria for upgrades to Regalia Gold, Diners Black and Infinia.

I requested for upgrade from Diners Black Plastic to Infinia. HDFC rejected saying I do not meet the bank eligibility criteria. Spending > 7.5L in last 6 months seems to be the major criteria for upgrade.
