After a year of intense disputes with the axis regarding credit card eligibility, I managed to obtain the Google Pay Ace credit card. However, I made an error by using the mobile number associated with my sole proprietorship company instead of my personal number, as that was the number I received the invitation on.

Hence, I have a few questions:

1. When should I update the email ID and phone number linked to the card?
2. If I can change them immediately, how should I proceed?
3. How will the cash back be credited to me?

I won't be using this card anyway but wanted to get this just to prove a point to axis management as i got lots of phone call harrasment

Firstly, congratulations on getting the Ace Card and not giving up your fight against Axis. 😄

1. Update it after you receive the card in hand.
2. In the Axis Mobile app, click on the three horizontal lines, then go to 'Services' where you will find the necessary settings.
3. The cashback will be credited in the statement and will also be adjusted against the statement.

You can do it from the axis bank mobile application. Go to services there you can find the option to update mobile number.

Of course, it will take some time. In some cases, it has taken up to 14 days, so I request you to wait patiently.

Also, could you please share how you finally got your card?

Well thanks to RBI OMBUDSMAN

After i said i have already reported to RBI axis started to get close and wanted to smooth of all hard chips

Yes.Axis Band send card account number to credit bureaus instead of actual card numbers.Its normal practice in Axis bank.
So no need to worry.Its routine reporting of axis ublike most other banks sends exact card number to credit bureaus. 🙄

Should I close my ace card ? Is it worth keeping?

🤣🤣Recently you have got the card and you have started to think about closing the card.

Ab le hi liya hai toh toh thoda use kar hi lijiye atleast for year.For offline payments its best card available in market.Still better of most of the cashback cards in market.

i got this card just to prove a point with axis that who is in the deciding authority. Because I was very much harassed on this.

Even new airtel card owners have reported this. You need to contact axis to correct this
