Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

I have multiple Credit / Debit Cards πŸ¦πŸ’³ and I’m looking for the best way to store card details and efficiently track rewards, milestones, and benefits πŸŽ―πŸ“Š.
Managing multiple cards can get overwhelming, especially when keeping track of reward points, cashback, milestone spending, renewal fees, and special offers πŸ€‘.

I’d love to hear how you guys manage this! A few specific questions:

βœ… Best Storage Method:

How do you store your card details securely? πŸ”
Do you use Google Sheets πŸ“‹, Excel, Notion, or any specialized apps πŸ“±?

πŸ“Œ Google Sheet Templates:

If anyone has a well-structured Google Sheet template for tracking card benefits, milestone tracking, and fee waivers, please share! πŸ’‘

πŸ’° Tracking Rewards:

How do you track reward points and cashback?
Do you manually enter points earned per transaction, or do you use some kind of automation? πŸ”„

🎯 Milestone Tracking:

For cards that offer quarterly or annual milestone benefits (like spending β‚ΉX in 3 months to earn bonuses), how do you keep track of your progress?
πŸ† Do you set reminders πŸ“…, use formulas πŸ”’, or check statements manually?

⏳ Managing Expiry & Fees:

How do you ensure reward points don’t expire and that your annual fee waivers are applied on time?
Any system you follow? πŸ’‘

Would love to hear your setup, tools, or any tips that make this process easier and more efficient!

If you have a Google Sheet template, it would be a huge help! πŸ™Œ

Looking forward to your responses! πŸš€

I use 1Password to store all my cards. Works well with my windows PC, iPhone and MacBook. Probably not worth it to pay 3k/year just so save credit card info. But if you also need a good password manager, then it's not a bad subscription.
Bitwarden is a decent free alternative.

How do you track Rewards & Milestones? Manually?

I have never ever thought about tracking any kind of points/cash-back/milestone. I choose to trust the banks (even if they aren’t deserving of it).

It just takes too much effort and time, especially if you have more than 3 Credits Cards. I just choose to Swipe, Pay back after 30 days and forget about everything else until it’s time for me to redeem my Points for a trip/Gift Voucher.

For me, ignorance is bliss at least in this case.

No when people say "tracking" they usually mean tracking yearly spends on cards to meet milestones so that you can stop using that card for the year. For example if I have AMEX Plat Travel, I'll just track my yearly spends and when it reaches 4 Lakh, I'll stop using it for the year and move to a different card.

I personally don't have the desire the min max that much, so I stick to things like SBI cash back and swiggy cards which are straightforward cash

I'm using excel sheet to secure my cards CC details are encrypted with a key which I have a way to generate based on card type, easy to remember.

I use an online algorithm to encrypt and decrypt and same algorithm I created locally in case if that site stop working.

Reward points and milestone are tough to track, monthly I have set reminders to have 2-3 hours to visit my excel sheet and update manually.

Storage: Joplin
Tracking Spends: Google Sheets
Reminders: Google Calendar

The last item will go away once trust is gained with HDFC auto-pay.

I use BitWarden to store credit card details and a simple online Excel sheet to write down what is the bill generated and did I pay it or not. Summing these values gives me annual spends.

I am planning to use a yellow post-it stickon in my CC+DC wallet and note down the benefits of each. Few cards have lounge access, BMS movie ticket offer, Rupay Amz 100rs, Swiggy Rupaydc on fridays, best cards for category wise spends such as education, insurance etc. cards which give OTT/Spa/Airport pickdrop etc.

All this effort is for mango people who hold various low/mid range cards. For people with Infinia/M4B/EPM it doesn’t matter.

Storage : samsung pay > samsung pass > private info
Reward tracking : using savesage app now and manually add points to it every sunday
Milestoneyracking: still a challenge. Hence will call cust care and confirm. Why should we do all the work πŸ˜‰
Benefits tracking : savesage is mostly updated, but not perfect sinve card benefits keep changing (mainly getting devalued evry other day, so its even hard for them to track I suppose)
Also i have the befits and all updated in a google sheet.
For expory amd fee reminder and amt : i use easybills reminder app (on android)

For samsung pass, does this work effectively using a 3rd party keyboard ? Such as Gboard? Can I still fetch the stored details easily to input anywhere? Or Its limited to samsung keyboard?

Also what's your review for savesage?
It's relatively new with barely any reviews? Us it free or you've to pay? And lastly data protection?

TIA

Looks like the elite secret society of #CCGEEKS are keeping their secrets locked up! πŸ”’πŸ˜‚
Nobody wants to share how they store card details & track reward... 🀐

Spay works with any gboard.i use gboard.
Its easy to copy card details from that app, you need to open app and copy details, u like some password storage apps which is integrated into chrome or other apps.

Its relatively new, but theres been a lot of wffort the team put in, i felt. Anyways, no charges, so just use it as a free app.
Do t worry abt data protection si ce you dont have to i put cc details or any other details. I ise it as a informations app that give info on benefits of cards and manually track points all in one place.

Great!

I'll try both these then.

As of now I use Google only to store my card details and when I use chrome it's super convenient as it auto fetches the card details.

I'll give samsung pass a shot.
As well savesage
