Technically you can apply right now. but before that you need to find out why it was rejected in the first place..
Rejection criteria could be different for different banks..

Here we dont discuss the cases where there were defaults and / or delayed payments..that is for another day..​

Here is the much awaited post on CIBIL Score and how it works and what we should do to improve it over the period of the time..

Here I won't go in detail about how the score is constructed as there were numerous posts on the internet in explaining the CIBIL score...

Thank you for sharing this thread. I had no idea about high limit and impact of enquiries on score.

I am yet to receive a rejection email from ICICI, only received a generic rejection sms saying "We are unable to approve your credit card application, please reapply after 6 months".
