🧺 Washing Machine Routine – How Do You Plan Yours?

I’ve been thinking about how to organize my washing machine routine better. The goal is to reduce extra work, make clothes last longer, and keep them looking good over time.

Some people say it’s better to split laundry by type — for example:
  • Whites on one day
  • Innerwear on another
  • Microfiber towels / cleaning cloths separately
  • Regular colored clothes together
Others prefer to just run mixed loads to save time.

I’m curious how everyone here manages this:
  • Do you keep separate days for different types of clothes?
  • Or do you mix everything and just adjust the wash settings?
  • Any tips to make laundry less of a chore while still taking care of the fabric quality?

Would love to hear your washing routines, hacks, or mistakes you learned from!

1. Test your color cloths first, whether they're leaking their colors when wet. This is tough task if only one purchase cloths every week otherwise onetime effort.
2. If all good, mix everything -- which saves electricity, water, washing machine health.
