Where is the VIP lounge in T1?
There is the standard 080 lounge soon after the security check area and then there are 2 lounges opposite Gate 34 35.
Apart from these, where is the VIP lounge situated?

It is not in T1, there is vip section in T2, only benefit is lesser or no crowd at all, rest nothing special about it. On other hand, air india qila lounge is definitely worth it at T2.

No card based access or pp or anything else. Only 3 things gets you there- air india business class, star alliance gold or AI Gold status.

USP of this lounge is ala carte menu (instead of buffet) & awesome runway view, royal ambience

And I frequently skip this vip lounge despite having access. It feels awkward to fetch same buffet alone with 5-6 waters staring at you. Quite space is anyways available at normal shared lounge at T2. So no benefit of this so called vip lounge. Instead go to air India lounge.

I recently went to the 080 - VIP Lounge using my EPM. It's good if you love quiet places; the food is same as the 080 Lounge and you need to get it from the buffet itself. They do have some snacks & drinks present in the VIP Lounge.

I do not think they have different lounge for Emirates. My guess is you would be getting complimentary access to 080 - VIP Lounge only.

Emirates would give you complimentary access to 080 lounge normal one(International terminal does not have any other lounge), VIP & Air India lounge are for domestic section only.

The only benefit of complimentary access is, They will allow you anytime even if you are 5 hours before departure time. Card based access will be only 3 hours before departure time.

No one checks the time. Never in my case at least. There was a time when I had to spend 6 hrs in Delhi lounge and it was just fine.

I am talking about specifically 080 lounge at Blore airport. They specifically ensure that you don't enter before 3 hours departure time if going via any card.
