2nd best debit card for high value credit card bill payment

damn

TF Select
I found a debit card that rewards about 2500*12 = Rs 30000 per annum. It is Indian Bank debit card. They have a tiered system where first Rs 10k earns 50 points and next Rs 20k earns 150 points. Now, per customer ID limit per calendar month for points accrual is 10000. So, for the next tier, in order to maximize the limit, you would have to spend Rs 9.8L. Not necessary, but the most amount you should spend before triggering a limit on point accrual.

First tier - 1 point per 200
Second tier - 1.5 tier per 200
Third tier - 2 per 200

Hence, for high value transactions, you can use the debit card. Also, they do support 6012 mcc, ie, no restriction, so you can use Canara Setu.

Enjoy

1 rp = Rs 0.25

it looks similar to SBI VDC....
10000 points per month
converting to 2500rs...
For getting 10000 Points via sbi VDC one has to pay 5L bill per month....

but here u need 10L per month probably?

Good observation. But this facility has many problems. Most importantly, the effective reward rate is 0.12% - 0.25%.
Many other PSU banks have similar reward point benefits.

Ah, may be true; I was just looking for something to do for timepass, and found this, so thought should share if someone needs it

Maybe others can create a similar post for other banks

Good to know since all options are closing one by one.
