I use Xiaomi 50-inch 4K.

Open for any brand suggestions.
I am also looking at Xiaomi 55 inch QLED. Expect it to be around 42K after card discounts.

Best suggestion: Avoid Flipkart

Any particular reason to avoid flipkart? I personally use flipkart over Amazon. Never faced any problems.

I had purchased the X74K 55 inch model of this TV last year.
If you are into nitpicking the colors and display and every aspect of the screen, then no doubt Sony is one of the best and this model might be available under 50k during sale, so best price as well. It will also last long as everyone would have seen Sony's old TVs here and there.
This model is best purely for watching sports and content on OTTs. Don't compare this with gaming TVs, if your requirement is gaming then look for other TVs.

Guys I am looking to buy 55 inch TV in this BBD/GIF sale. Please share your reviews and help me to decide the model of TV.

Thanks in advance.
What ever the brand you choose, please check upscaling available in the TV. as our most of the TV channels still in SD/HD they won't look good in 4K TV.

I have purchased VU in 2017 with upscaling functionality, even cable STB (720P) it upscales very good and every one who visits my house praises the picture quality. But i don't know the currently how this brand is doing now

Every brand does upscaling now a days, I purchased 50 inch hisense tv for 17k. Even it had that functionality, also the quality is way better than xiaomi 5x.

But every every upscale is not upto the mark or just name sake. We just need to verify before purchasing it at Vijay Sales or Reliance Digital.

Yeah you can check even panel quality you can't determine online. Buying led tv is completely different from buying phone/laptops, can't be judge from specs.

for me..samsung or sony or lg tv..and android os will be cherry on cake..i wont recommend xaiomi for a 8-10yrs investment
Yes. That's what my father is saying. But I think technology these days is evolving rapidly and personally would change the TV in 6-7 years. Hence don't want to spend beyond 40k.

Listen to your Dad, it’s just not about technology it’s about the picture quality & brand reliability also. Finally it’s your call on brand as per your budget but whatever you do just avoid buying TV online. I got better deal on my TV in Sony Centre during Deepawali.

I got this https://amzn.to/47tdKuD tcl 55in under 28k with promo exchange and card discount applied in July.

Yes. I'll check the picture quality at Croma, Reliance digital and Vijay sales and then look out for the best deal. I'll probably get the best deal in BBD/GIF as I have Infinia. If any of the offline stores matches the price will surely buy it offline.

How's your experience?

I want to purchase 4k 65 inch TV, Samsung Vivid Pro 2024 model or Sony Bravia 2.
My known to who is in service dept for many years said that Samsung service in brand as well as third party repairs are more readily available as compared to Sony.
And I saw many reviews for these 2 models. Samsung picture quality is almost at par with Sony.
Personally I have used samsung 43 inch 4k tv purchased in 2022. Experience was superb.
