A companion card to Infinia

navam

TF Premier
So the background is I end up hitting/crossing the 15k accelerated points on my Infinia every 2-3 months and I feel like the 3.3% return on other spends could be better.
I was using magnus primarily pre Deval and now it's just there for meet and greet. Using Infinia as primary now.

So, now I'm looking for a card which I can use for
1. Replacing my 3.3% return spends on Infinia, regular spending
2. Booking hotels and flights when I hit the 15k limit on Infinia with decent returns.

Based on everything I've read, it seems like the best companion/supplement card to Infinia would be Axis Atlas.
But as always I'm very hesitant to get another axis (also not sure if I'm eligible for a 2nd one and their sales folks just say/do whatever to get you to submit the application and that makes me very angry lol)

So is there anything else out there if not I'll just bite the bullet and trust axis once more....... Even typing that hurts haha 😂

I had transferred bulk of Amex points last year when 30% transfer bonus came for Bonvoy.
Either stay 5 nights in Marriott with 1 night free with redemption or stay where you get a good value. You can search many hotels which give you a good value.
If not 1INR/per point even 80-90p is not bad.
I recently redeemed Bonvoy points with >1INR/MB point in my recent trip to Turkey.
You need to search and time well where you will be going.
I have 48+21 K MR points in my and spouse account ... what's your advice?
I mean i know it's a subjective things but whats the best redemption possible?
Just your personal opinion...

Haan this 30% bonus scheme made it worth it, otherwise toh 80-90p is all you get, in my experience you can derive upwards of 1.5rs on airlines, ITC gives a flat 1rs and accor is 1.8rs i think, toh 80-90 quite frankly is low.
Scoring 1rs + value on MB is great I think, I can almost never find that value.

PS: I'm sure others have seen this but leaving a note- ITC value is actually above 1rs if you book via points online and not pay at hotel, they have a special reward night rate (generally) which is cheaper than the member rate. You can get a value of 1.1 -1.2 there.

Both you and spouse should have MRCC and Gold Charge card.
So for spending 6k on each card both of you, you get 4K points on 24k spends
Then pool it in one MB account.
You’ll get the most points with minimum spends. In a year minimum 48k points for spending only 288K. If using reward multiplier then even better. 48k MB points even if you take 80p then more than 13% returns.

Ok slightly off topic but since you have been using amex for last 4 years, what the heck do you do with MR points? I feel like the redemption value is really crappy compared to other reward points since the partners transfer ratios aren't great. Like either you get the gold collection something vouchers or transfer to marriot which is also very hard to get >1rs value per point. Asking cause I feel like I'm doing something wrong with my amex haha.
I normally use them for Taj redemptions. It is the one pamper the family in two years option that i choose to have 😀
